Acceptance of Terms

Welcome to nafa.ca. NAFA provides services to you, subject to the following Terms of Service (TOS), which may be updated from time to time without notice.

Description of Service

NAFA.ca currently provides users with access to a variety of information on personal accounts, NAFA auctions and industry related news. While NAFA strives to provide the best possible service, you understand and agree that services are provided “AS-IS” and that NAFA assumes no responsibility for the timeliness, deletion, mis-delivery or failure to store any user communications or personalization settings.

NAFA reserves the right at any time and from time to time to modify or discontinue, temporarily or permanently, any service (or any part thereof) with or without notice.

Your Obligations

In consideration of your use of the Service, you agree to provide true, accurate, current and complete information about yourself. If you provide any information that is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, or NAFA has reasonable grounds to suspect that such information is untrue, inaccurate, not current or incomplete, NAFA has the right to suspend or terminate your account and refuse any and all current or future use of NAFA.ca web services (or any portion thereof). NAFA is concerned about the safety and privacy of all its clients.

Account Names, Passwords and Security

You will receive a password and account designation upon completing the registration process. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of the password and account.

You agree to:

(a) immediately notify NAFA of any unauthorized use of your password or account or any other breach of security,


(b) ensure that you exit from your account at the end of each session.


You agree not use the Service to impersonate any person or entity, including, but not limited to a NAFA client, a NAFA official, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity. You agree not to interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers or networks connected to the Service, or disobey any requirements, procedures, policies or regulations of networks connected to the Service. You agree not to knowingly upload, post, email, transmit or otherwise make available any material that contains software viruses or any other computer code, files or programs designed to interrupt, destroy or limit the functionality of any computer software or hardware or telecommunications equipment.

Because NAFA has no control over such sites and resources, you acknowledge and agree that NAFA is not responsible for the availability of such external sites or resources, and does not endorse and is not responsible or liable for any Content, advertising, products, or other materials on or available from such sites or resources.

NAFA, the NAFA logo, and other NAFA logos and product and service names are trademarks of North American Fur Auction’s group of companies. Without NAFA’s prior permission, you agree not to display or use in any manner, the trademarks.


NAFA respects the intellectual property of others, and we ask our users to do the same. If you believe that site content has been copied in a way that constitutes copyright infringement, please contact NAFA with a description of the copyrighted work that you claim has been infringed and where the material that you claim is infringing is located.

CAUTION: Any attempt by an entrant to deliberately damage any website or to undermine the operations of NAFA is a violation of criminal and civil laws. Should such an attempt be made, NAFA reserves the right to seek damages. NAFA will at any time discontinue the site in the event that the site becomes technically corrupted in any way or is compromised by a virus, bugs, non-authorized human intervention, or any other causes beyond the control of NAFA (which corrupt or impair the administration, security, or proper operation of the site).
