The third day of NAFA’s April mink sale featured the sale of White and Pearl mink. Again, there was widespread bidding in a full auction room on better grades and naps, a reassuring fact that indicates an increase in confidence in the market.
White and Pearl males were firm, while females of both varieties advanced over recent international auctions. The sale of White female mink, in particular, was very strong. All mink sold at close to 100%.
China continued to dominate buying throughout the day, with some support from Korea and Greece.
Can-Am Sable sold very well, with Korea very active for all better qualities, and with good support from Hong Kong, China and Europe. The popularity of this item was demonstrated by the large attendance in the auction room.
NAFA’s April sale will continue tomorrow with the sale of Demi Brown male and female mink.
