TheOneMilano opened its doors on February 23rd to visitors. Over the four days, the fair was buzzing with over 10,000 visitors including buyers, designers and manufacturers. Looking to see the latest from Milan, NAFA’s booth had constant company from customers and industry professionals, many intrigued and excited about the recent acquisition of the Blackglama label. The fair saw the highest percentage of foreign buyers for a fashion trade fair to date, with 342 brands presented by foreign companies.
On February 24th, Braschi unveiled his FALL/WINTER 2018 runway collection with support from NAFA. Inspired by The Glory of Russian Costume Exhibition at the MET Museum in New York City, models came down the catwalk in Black NAFA biker jackets, NAFA Northern sable and lynx cat capes and NAFA Mink hats, gilets and jackets dyed in majestic purple and emerald jewel tones.
On the evening of February 25th the IFF, in partnership with Vogue Talents, hosted a presentation of the REMIX competition finalists and announced its winners. NAFA is a proud sponsor of the Gold Award that went to Japanese designer Chunchen Liu who will come to Studio NAFA this summer.
Timed with Milan Fashion Week, both the fair and city were bustling with fashion influencers from around the world. NAFA’s marketing team is pleased to report a delightful number of fur in street style sightings around the city.
