NAFA’s January Sale Emboldens Market Confidence

January 30, 2015

NAFA’s January mink sale came to a close today, as it opened earlier this week, on an extremely positive and upbeat note, all of which helped to create new confidence in the market.

The day opened with NAFA’s collection of Silverblue males, which sold at levels advancing up to 20% over the most recent international auction. This was followed by Silverblue females, selling at encouraging levels that were firm to slightly advanced.

NAFA’s collection of White males also advanced 5-10%, while White females sold well at levels that were moderately advanced.

NAFA’s intense marketing efforts in China and the rest of the world was a major factor in filling the auction room. While 400 buyers attended the auction, hundreds of Chinese furriers participated in the auction over the Internet using NAFA’s technology, at several major fur-buying locations across the country.

All in all, NAFA’s January auction was a success for both buyers and sellers, and we would like to thank all who participated.
