The tour will continue across the country to conclude at Changchun University of Technology on October 19. The tour will travel to 14 colleges and universities between the Southwest to the Northeast of China.

The tour targets students majoring in fashion design, who have shown enthusiasm for the textile and competition. By the end of the tour, the NAFA China team will speak to over 2000 Chinese students.

Launched in 2009, NAFA Cup is one of the largest fur design competitions in China and has developed and discovered some of the brightest design talent in the industry today. Now in its 8th year, NAFA Cup’s competition platform has been a successful support system for young designers to launch into the fur and fashion world.

Lumin Yao, Director of NAFA China, will lead the lecture tour, introducing NAFA’s history, the NAFA 2017 Heritage Campaign, NAFA’s fashion promotions, quality labels, fur techniques, Studio NAFA, the upcoming NAFA Cup and more. Students also have the opportunity to touch and feel fur samples.

NAFA’s outreach to universities and colleges is key to recruiting and injecting new talent into the fur industry. Since the launch of NAFA Cup, NAFA has been committed to encouraging young Chinese designers to embrace fur through creativity and innovative thinking.
