NAFA Concludes Difficult Selling Season on a Positive Note

June 5, 2016

NAFA’s June auction concluded today with the final sale of Section III mink achieving very strong results.

Despite the depressed prices that the industry has been dealing with all year, NAFA is very proud of our ability to draw a big attendance from all major markets, and to sell 100% of our mink at significantly rising prices throughout our June sale. We were also able to sell a much higher volume of wild fur than anyone might have expected, given current market conditions.

We would like to thank all of our suppliers for their continued support this season, and we hope that this auction gives them some renewed confidence going forward. We would also like to thank all of the buyers who supported us in this auction and throughout the year, including the many hundreds from across the globe who participated via our online auction services.

It’s been a tough year for all of us, and although we recognize that there are still challenges ahead, NAFA will continue its many efforts to support all aspects of the industry.

We wish everyone a healthy and productive summer.
