Korea Dominates Better Qualities on Day 3

February 12, 2017

For the third consecutive day, NAFA’s auction room again saw very competitive bidding from all major markets. Today’s offering consisted of Demi Brown females, Sapphire, Blue Iris, Violet, Unique Mutations and Lynx Cat.

Similar to yesterday’s males, Demi females saw a range of advances between 5-15% depending on size, nap and quality. Korea dominated the sale of the larger sizes and better qualities, which advanced 10-15% above recent international levels. The Classic naps advanced 5-10%.

Sapphire and Blue Iris male mink experienced strong gains of up to 20%, while females advanced 10-20%, with larger sizes and better qualities going again to Korea.

Violets and Unique Mutations sold exceptionally well in the better qualities and shorter naps.

A small collection of Lynx Cats also sold very well in the better qualities and clearer bellies.

NAFA’s February sale concludes tomorrow with the sale of White, Pastel and Polar males and females.
