Day five of NAFA’s April mink sale featured Black and Mahogany female mink, which sold at close to 100%.
Black female mink, including the world’s finest collection of Black NAFA, sold very well to an enthusiastic room, at levels that were firm to advancing. Korea was especially active in competing for the highest quality Black NAFA, with good support from China.
Mahogany females also sold at levels that were advancing over those achieved at recent international auctions.
NAFA’s April auction will conclude tomorrow with the sale of the world’s finest collection of Black NAFA and Mahogany male mink.
The Top Lot of Black NAFA — Female was purchased by Long Radiance Ltd. for Harbin Guifuren Fur Square, of Harbin, China for $800. Produced by Zimbal Mink.
The Top Lot of Mahogany Mink — Female was purchased by Sotiris Vogiatzis for EFD Papadopoulos Furs, of Kastoria, Greece for $260. Produced by Dixon Mink Ranch.
The Top Lot of Lynx Cat was purchased by FENDI of Rome, Italy for $900.
The Top Lot of Lynx was purchased by Phil Patterson (For Fur Brokerage) for Randy Richard of Glacier Wear of Maine, United States for $140.
