The second day of NAFA’s May mink sale began with the offering of Silverblue males, which sold 74% at levels that were firm to slightly easier compared to recent sales. Later in the day, Silverblue females sold 77% at firm levels.
The highlight of the day was the sale of Blue Iris males which sold 89% at prices that were firm to February. Blue Iris females sold 58% at easier levels.
Sapphire mink struggled to find a solid footing in today’s sale and remain a difficult colour to sell in this market.
The day ended with the sale of over 90,000 Coyotes that sold very strong at levels firm to advancing over our last auction.
NAFA’s May auction continues tomorrow with the sale of White, Violet, and Lavender mink, along with Various Crosses and Breeders.
