Black NAFA and Mahogany Mink Hold Value on Day 2

July 7, 2017

Day two of NAFA’s July mink sale began with the year’s final offering of Black NAFA and Mahogany mink. One of the bright spots in today’s sale was the fact that we were able to stop the slide of prices in high quality Black and Mahogany mink.

Black NAFA males and females achieved prices that were fully firm to recent levels. Mahoganies also held firm.

China was the biggest buyer, with strong support from Greece in the Black NAFA males, and Korea in the Black NAFA females.

Commercial Pearl males sold well at firm levels, while better qualities were partially withdrawn due to producer limits.

NAFA’s July mink sale continues tomorrow with the sale of Demi Brown males and females, and Pearl females.
