Yesterday’s improvement in market confidence carried over into today’s Mahogany mink sale. Once again, in a crowded auction room, international buyers demonstrated improved energy and bidding was lively.
Mahogany male mink sold at firm to slightly advancing prices, and better quality females were up 5-7.5% from our last auction. China dominated the males, while Korea was very active in high quality females.
Cross mink sold 70% at levels that were firm to slightly easier.
Unique Mutations, including Lavenders, sold at very strong levels for in demand colors, highlighted by the Top Lot’s of males and females which sold for $440 each.
NAFA’s May auction continues tomorrow with the sale of Demi Brown males, Pastel males and females, Can/Am Sable and Fisher.
